Venture for America
Venture for America uses Teach for America model to match grads with young firms in struggling cities.
The newly launched not-for-profit’s goal is to match college graduates with startups and early-stage companies in the cities that need jobs the most, including Detroit, New Orleans and Providence. The program provides training in innovation and entrepreneurship, while combating the brain drain from certain struggling U.S. cities to places like New York or Silicon Valley.
